In 1898 the famous inventor NIKOLA TESLA invented the complicated TESLA high-voltage generator, named after him. As the modern world did not know what to do with this highly sophisticated appliance it virtually went into oblivion.
The high voltage achieved by the TESLA Generator (100,000 to 1 million volts) is of a complex nature and to some degree remains a puzzle to this day.
