His company is a member of the International Game Fish Association, and the Kenya Association of Sea Angling clubs, the supreme governing bodies for sport fishing. Two of the boats are licensed to carry six fisherman, the third five; and all boats are equipped with hollow fibreglass rods fitted with roller guides and Everol reels of line sizes up to 37 kgs. When the north east monsoon wind is blowing from December to April, the boats go further out and fish longer hours to pursue the great billfish. But trips can be longer on request, for the hardy!
