This is a very beautiful collection of poems. It reflects the author's observations on life, from children's growing years to the soul's passage on earth; from joy in the small things of life to the agony of loss and death.
Many of the poems reflect African life, the pain and poverty of its people to the simple dignity of the African woman, which poem won her an international award-
You've got a heavy load there, balanced on your head
But I'm going home with firewood, so no, it isn't so ...
A not-to-be missed read for those who appreciate the beauty of the written word in poetic form.

A Coronet of Verse, the title of this collection of poems, reflects the fact that the poems are an observation on life, a conclusion to emotional experiences which (metaphorically) 'crown' us with wisdom, as life's experiences should do, meant as they are, as lessons.
It is an eclectic collection - some long, as in the contrast of a man's working day in Africa to one in America; and some short, like the author's 'night noises'.
This book is a delight to dip into, a very readable, enjoyable collection of verse.

'Love isn't what makes the world go round, its what makes the trip worthwhile' says the author in the preface, and the title of this book aptly describes a collection, lovingly put together, as one would a bouquet of special blooms.
Many faceted, covering pain and pathos, passion and joy, the author's individual views and observations are penned in poetry on the oldest emotion of all - Love.

A Bouquet of Love Poems is a charming collection of verse, some long, some short, some rhyming, some not, bound in a bouquet of the author's reflections and observations of the many faces of love -
When we said good night
You held me tight
And I didn't want to go...
But soon comes dawn
And then it's morn
And nobody must know...
This 'bouquet' is one which is well worth taking, and keeping.
